Orbetello is a versatile Italian holiday destination. There are many picturesque villages inland, and the coast is popular with those who love sun, sea and sand. The campsite is located in a unique spot on the Tómbolo della Gianella headland.
Bubbling and bobbing
The Pool complex has it all. You can swim your lengths in the large pool, bubble in the whirlpool and splash around in the toddlers' pool. You can work on your tan on the sunny lawn. If you prefer to lie in your towel in the sand, go to the campsite's private beach. You can walk there in less than five minutes. Enjoy!
Fun until it gets late
The entertainment team at Orbetello Camping Village gets into top gear in the summer months. There is a lovely mini club for the youngest guests. Older children can occupy themselves with games, sports competitions and workshops. Maybe they'd like to learn to fly a kite on the beach! There is also an attractive playground where they will quickly make friends.
Of course you don't go to Italy to cook for yourself. Italian food is far too tasty for that! Piazza Toscane is where you should be. This square has a supermarket, bar, bazaar, theatre and restaurant. Grab a pizza, pasta or some other tasty bite. Many families get together for plenty of fun in the evenings!
Popular destination
Porto Ercole is not far from Orbetello, and you can drive there in less than fifteen minutes. It is one of the best-known places in the region. Its colourful houses, good restaurants and yacht harbour make it a popular destination. Be sure to visit the two castles in the vicinity: Rocca Spagnola and Forte Santa Caterina.
